Flooded evaporator for air conditioning system - has honeycomb pattern of tubes with ribs and zigzag plate inducing turbulence

The evaporator comprises tubes (10) assembled in a honeycomb pattern. Ribs are fixed (6) to the tubes, and a plate bent into a zigzag pattern (8) and with zigzag notches, cut along it, is inserted in the tubes, forming a static turbulence inducer. There can be two tanks acting as flooding vessels for the liquid coolant, mounted at the sides, with headers inside forming tube supports and hermetically sealed. The evaporator may contain two rows and several columns of double flow passages, whose rectangular cross section forms a parallelepiped body of the evaporator.
