The square grid is for a game of chance such as Lotto and allows play with a minimum of 10,12 or 14 numbers. For 10 numbers it is divided into 12 by 12 squares. The first horizontal row is marked with letters (A-J) and the first vertical row is marked with numbers (1-10). The second rows are left for the numbers chosen by the player. The other rows each have 4 black squares which eliminate different numbers in each row, leaving 6 numbers marked. The vertical direction can be used by turning the grid round.
