The device uses two flasher control units which operate at different frequencies. An operating lever (11) pivots around an axis (12). A flasher unit, has a frequency a, and a second flasher unit (22) has a frequency b. Both of the units are bought together to form a module (23) which is operated directly from the vehicle battery. The operating lever (11) has five positions (0-4) with spring loading preventing operation of the extra functions without conscious effort. The first position of the lever provides left and right turn indication through a flasher unit (22). The second positions provide higher frequency operation through a second unit (21) to signal slowing or reversing in traffic.
