Board and dice game simulating closed circuit automobile race - uses sets of three pegs traversing transparent peg-board over circuit plan

The parlour game uses a peg board (1b) with dice and chance cards to simulate closed circuit automobile racing. A box (1) with a side-hung transparent lid (1b) contains a plan (2) of the course. The lid (1b) has perforations (5) at close centres forming a square grid pattern comprising the playing surface. Each player has three colour coded pawns or pegs which traverse the course in stages determined by a throw of the dice. A scale with cursers may be used to record the accumulative number of turns, and weather cards may be drawn from a pack at predetermined turn numbers. Players may draw suitable weather equipment at pit stops, being penalised if remote from the pits with inappropriate gear.
