Earth anchor for stabilising piles - consists of triangular strip, with lateral fins incorporating guy rope attachment points

The movable anchor for securing stakes, poles etc. into the ground using guy ropes is made up of a triangular strip (1). The strip pref. has a rearwardly directed flap (2) along its upper edge and forwardly directed fins (4,5) along its lateral edges. Pref. the flap (2) contains a hole (3) to support the stake (6) and pref. the rear face of the strip includes a stop to immobilise the end of the stake. The front face of the strip may carry a hook (5') for the attachment of guy ropes.
