The light weight craft which can be adapted for use in a large number of ways, consists basically of a hollow shell at the front, connected to a platform at the rear. This platform consists of two lightweight parallel boards, in the manner of surf boards. For use as a sailing craft, a mast with a sail is mounted on the front shell, which has a partition mounted across its open end. A keel is then fitted behind the shell, between the two boards. When used as a motor boat, an engine can be mounted immediately behind the shell. The motor can have a propeller shaft projecting vertically downwards, and is controlled by height adjustable handlebars for steering. It can be operated from a standing, crouching or seated position. Other types of driving motors can be fitted.
