The suspension arm (5) is articulated about a joint (8) on the vehicle chassis (8) and carries the axle pin (1) of the vehicle wheel (2). A rod (7) is connected to the bottom of the axle pin and to a ball and socket joint (9) and to a rod (10) which joins the two joints (9). The whole arrangement is symmetrical to both wheels. Arms (11,14) oscillate around a central shaft (12) and are joined to joints (9) so that, if one wheel rises and its axle pin rake is altered, the central linkage automatically pulls the other axle pin to the same rake.
