The fallen fruit gatherer has one large (B) and one small (A) rotor mounted above each other with the smaller rotor moving over the ground. A curved grille (9) extends in front of the lower rotor and extends, at its upper end, into a curved guide plate (3) which directs the collected fruit into the upper part of the machine toward a leaf separator (C). The separator comprises a rotating cage which permits the removal of dead leaves. A downwardly inclined plane (10) delivers the material onto the cage and another inclined plane (11) receives the fruit from the cage under the influence of a stream of air produced by the blades of the large rotor.
