The sporting goggles are for use by motor-cyclists riding in moto-cross. They comprise a front transparent screen, round which are a top packing and two lateral transparent faces. The front screen (6) hinges on a horizontal axis on the top packing (4), so that it can be lifted by the wearer when there is a risk of it being obscured by mud splashes. The top face is then protected by a visor, fixed to the wearer's helmet. A spring (11) can be provided to hold the screen either up or down as desired.
