摘要

The control is used to switch a radiator On and OFF in dependence on whether or not the room is occupied. The control circuit comprises a photosensor, and amplifier and a switch to operate electro magnetic valve connected in the output line of the radiator. The control may have a manual switch allowing it to be rendered inoperative. Alternatively the device can be used with an electric room heater, with the amplifier output operating a switch for selectively coupling the heater to the mains supply. The controller can also be incorporated in a solar or geothermal heating system. Pref. the photosensor comprises a photoresistance or photothyristor and is used with an amplifier having an adjustable response threshold. The device is used to ensure efficient and economic operating of the heating system.
