The coin carrier provides semi-circular channels of various dias. to allow different denominations of coin to be grouped and readily accessed. The carrier is intended to be portable and to hold the coins in place during transport. The device includes a base (2') which has a rowof parallel semi-cylindrical hollows (3) of graded dia. Each semi-cylinder is sloped to the horizontal so coins (23) move to one end. The coins are stacked on edge and a clear cover (1,2) is slid into matching grooves (21,22) on the base unit(2'), perpendicular to the orientation of the semi-cylinders(3). Angled projections, (11) fitted inside the lid, rest along the edges of the stacked coins to hold them in place during transit.
