The injection mould includes one or more moulding cavities between mould halves 1, 2 and one or more cores 5 displaceable into and out of said cavities wherein plastic material is injected into the or into each cavity of the mould, no such injection being effected in such a manner as to form two opposing side walls 11 of the casing or container at a level intermediate the regions which define the base and the top of the container. The base of each container is defined by a portion of the core connected to and displaceable with the displaceable half-mould 12 so that when moulding is finished and the mould is opened, the container thus obtained drops freely downwardly upon extraction of the associated core, the two half-moulds being provided with one or pairs of flow channels 9, 9% opening into the or into each cavity in opposite directions and which correspond to at least two opposed walls of the container to be produced.
