A mine roof support unit for inclined strata consists of two or more sections (2,3,4) connected by means of a common slidable beam (1) situated over the ends of sill pieces of the sections (4,2,3). The sill piece of one section (2) is coupled immovably with the slidable beam (1). The other sections (3,4) are articulated to the ends of the beam (1) by means of their advance system (5).
