PURPOSE:To obtain a living body restoring harmless sintered body having high adhesion to the tissues of the living body by molding an alloy composition consisting of Ti, Pd, Pt and Mo in a specified ratio followed by sintering. CONSTITUTION:An alloy consisting of 99.95-55wt% Ti and 0.05-45wt% one or more among Pd, Pt and Mo is formed into a cylindrical shape. In chamber 1 fixed electrode (-)2 and rotating electrode (+)4 of the Ti-Pd, Ti-Pt or Ti-Mo cylindrical alloy are set. Chamber 1 is evacuated from outlet 5, and an inert gas is introduced from inlet 6. While rotating electrode 4 with motor 3 arc discharge is generated. Alloy 7 thus melted is separated, scattered, and solidified on the inner wall of chamber 1. Solidified alloy 71 is spheres of 3-300mum particle size and recovered in pocket 8. The spheres are then suitably molded and heated at about 1,000- 1,400 deg.C under about 10-6mm.Hg for about 2-50hr to obtain a sintered body with =90% porosity.
