PURPOSE:To remove electricity from paper by using a metal covered with an insulating material for a guide of paper on which toner has been transferred and giving to the metal a charge of polarity opposite to paper in a non-impact printer of electronic photography system. CONSTITUTION:Printing paper 1 is run by a tractor 2. In order to transfer a toner image on a light sensitive drum 7 to the printing paper 1 voltage is applied to colortron wire 4 from a high voltage power source 6. The toner image is thereby transferred to the printing paper 1, but the printing paper has charge of the polarity of the high voltage power source. A paper guide 10 is an electrically charged metallic plate 11 covered by an insulation material. Because it is connected to a high voltage power source that has the polarity opposite to that of the power source 6, the paper possesses charge of opposite polarity. As a result, when the paper 1 passes through the paper guide 10, the charge on the paper 1 can be nullified and confusion of toner can be avoided.
