Medicaments, especially against androgenic disorders, are of the formula (I): IMAGE in which R and R' are the same or different and each represents a C1-4 alkyl, or R and R', together with the carbon atom to which they are attached, represent C3-6 cycloalkyl; R1 represents methyl or ethyl; R2 represents hydrogen or alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl, having at the most 8 carbon atoms, and optionally interrupted by a heteroatom, or a C2-18 acyl radical; R3 represents hydrogen or alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl having at the most 4 carbon atoms; alkyl; R4 represents hydrogen or C1-4 the wavy line indicates that the substituent R4 is in either of the two possible positions alpha or beta ; and the broken line joining positions 5 and 5a indicates the optional presence of a second bond joining these positions; with the proviso that R and R' are the same or different and each represents an alkyl radical having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms when positions 5 and 5a are joined by a double bond. Most of the compounds are novel.
