PURPOSE:To prevent water drops and mist from attaching to a photosensitive paper, by bringing a porous film permeable by only a gas but no liquid, into contact with the paper. CONSTITUTION:A porous film 4b permeable for only a gas but no liquid is wound on the outer circumference of a cylindrical substrate 4a made of metal, plastics, or ceramics, punched or perforated. The porous film 4b is, for example, made of polytetrafluoroethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene, or the like, and a protective drum may be provided outside the film 4b. The substrate 4a with the film 4d wound on it may be fixed while the outside protective drum is rotated. The gas is allowed to permeate uniformly all the surface of the film 4b and develops photosensitive paper.
