MEDIUM WAVE BROADCASTING TOWER ANTENNA USED IN COMMON BY TWO WAVES

PURPOSE:Not only to set the ground height of a tower body to about 1/2 of shorter wavelength in wavelength of 2 waves, but also to radiate 2 waves by large electric power, by setting the wavelength of 2 waves by which ground height of the tower body is used in common, so that a prescribed relation is satisfied. CONSTITUTION:Wavelength of 2 waves lambda1, lambda2 (lambda1lambda2) which use in common height (h) of a tower body T whose base part (c) has been grounded is set so as to satisfy the relation of 2h=lambda2=tau14.5h. Each lower end of conductors D1, D2 drawn down respectively from points b1, b2 on the body T, which have ascended by lambda1T/4 and lambda2T/4 from the base part (c) of the tower body T is anchored to ground through each insulator. On the other hand, from points d1', d2' and d1'', d2'' on branch lines S', S'' which have ascended by lambda1S/4 and lambda2S/4 along base parts (g'), (g'') of top part branch lines (S'), (S'') in which no insulator is inserted on the way, conductors D1', D2' and D1'', D2'' are drawn down, and those lower end e1', e2' and e1'', e2'' are all anchored to ground through an insulator. In this regard, lambda1T, lambda2T denote wavelength on the tower body T, and lambda1S, lambda2S denote wavelength on the branch lines S', S''.
