COLLECTED PENETRATION METAL BODY OF PRESSURE-PROOF SHELL OF SUBMARINE SHIP

PURPOSE:To maintain an exact circular form as required and prevent reduction of strnegth of a pressure-proof shell by quitting a frequent use of welding process for installation of pressure-proof shell penetrating metal bodies, in case of a pressure- proof shell which necessitates and exact circular form ensured by severe accuracy in machine work. CONSTITUTION:After a pressure-proof shell 1 and a collected penetrating metal body 2 are welded at a welding joint 3, machine work is performed for securing an exact circular form of the pressure-proof shell. After that, the penetration holes 4 for the penetrating pieces 5 such as electric wires and pieces are formed on the plate of an exact circular form through machine work, and penetrating pieces 5 are installed in these holes 4.
