COMBUSTION OF FINE COKE POWDER-MIXED OIL

PURPOSE:To permit the transport of coke by a pump as well as make easier the control of combustion by a method in which coke is ground into fine powder, and the fine coke powder is mixed with heavy or crude oil into a slurry. CONSTITUTION:Coke is ground into a superfine powder by mechanically or other methods, and approx. 30-50% fine coke powder is mixed with heavy oil or crude oil for fuel into a slurry. The slurried fuel is transported to the combustion chamber of boiler, baking furnace, etc., by a pump, where the slurried fuel is atmoized and burned. Also, waste tire may be mixed with heavy oil or crude oil after being finely powdered at low temperature.
