DEVICE TO RECOVER POTENTIAL ENERGY OF CITY WATER UNDER CONDITIONS AVAILABLE

PURPOSE:To make it possible to recover the potential energy of city water by connecting a small-diameter cylinder to the upper end of a large-diameter cylinder and by connecting a water pipe to the lower chamber of the large-diameter cylinder and a high pressure tank to the upper chamber of the small-diameter cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Two small-diameter cylinders 2 and 2' are coupled with the upper ends of two large-diameter cylinder 1 and 1'. The upper chambers of the large- diameter cylinders 1 and 1' are communicated with each other through a ventulation pipe 11, while lower chambers are communicated with a water pipe 13 and a drain pipe 16, and the upper chambers are communicated with a high pressure tank 10 and air suction pipes 6 and 6'. This construction makes it possible to actuate pistons 5 and 5' in the cylinders with the potential energy of city water and to store high pressure air in the high pressure tank 10. Therefore, the potential energy of city water can be recovered.
