WALKER-OPERATED MOVING AGRICULTURAL MACHINE WITH AUTOMATIC CHANGEOVER DEVICE FOR STEERING CLUTCH

PURPOSE:To prevent a clutch mechanism from being damaged by wrong operation, by automatically switching the clutch mechanism in connection with a cam follower which is pushed, swung and displaced with the change of the front-to-rear direction of a handlebar. CONSTITUTION:Clutch mechanisms 7a, 7b are mounted in positions which are separated at an appropriate distance from the pivoted butt of a handlebar 4 in the direction of the extension of the handlebar. The clutch mechanisms 7a, 7b are switched between two states for integral movement combinations of operating-side rotary members 8a, 8b with operated-side movable members 9a, 9b. The rotary members 8a, 8b are interlocked with a right and a left grip levers 6a, 6b through wires. The movable members 9a, 9b are interlocked with the clutch mechanisms 7a, 7b through wires. A cam 17 is secured on the top of a transmission case 1. A cam follower 18 is pushed and deformed by the cam 17 with the change of the front- to-rear direction of the handlebar 4 so that the clutch mechanisms 7a, 7b are automatically switched through a rocker link 20.
