PURPOSE:To avoid the disturbance cased by the intrinsic vibration of a machine device and a power transmission system, by putting a notch filter having a working region at a specific frequency band between a position controlling circuit and a speed controlling circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a position command signal A and a position signal B are supplied to a position controlling circuit 1, the circuit 1 delivers a speed command signal C to a notch filter 7. The filter 7 eliminates the intrinic vibration component of both a machine and a power transmission system and delivers a speed reference signal C'. A speed controlling circuit 2 compares the signal C' with a speed signal D delivered from a speed controlling circuit 4 to deliver a speed controlling signal E'. Based on this signal E', a driving device 3 works to shift an object 5 to be driven up to a desired position and a desired speed. In this cas, a position detector 6 is attached to the object 5 or at a position close to the object 5. Thus the harmful high frequency component is eliminated by the filter 7 for the signal B although it contains the frequency component of the intrinsic vibration of system.
