摘要

PURPOSE:To propel a ship even when its main engine is stopped due to the trouble, by operating a device, which has been operated as a separately excited induction generator up to the time of the trouble, as an induction motor controlled by a thyristor scherbius. CONSTITUTION:To the main shaft of propelling means 2 of screw or the like a separately excited induction generator 1 is connected, then a rectifier 3, DC reactor 4 and separately excited inverter 5 are successively connected from a secondary side winding of said generator through its slip rings to form a closed loop between those and primary side output circuit. An output side of the induction generator 1 is connected to a ship bus line BUS10 to form a parallel operational state with generators 11, 12, 13 of other lines. A speed control circuit is provided with a phase shifter 17, output frequency detector 16 and speed detector 18, further a selecting device 19 for switching the before said detectors 16, 18 is arranged in a front stage before an (f) setting, (v) setting command device 9.
