MEANS FOR INHIBITING STAGNATION OF FLOATING SLUDGE IN SQUARE-SHAPED PRESSURIZED FLOATING VESSEL

PURPOSE:To inhibit stagnation of floating sludge at corner parts, by attaching a directing plate at the upper end of a blowoff chamber, and changing the direction of pressurized water and water to be purified toward the rear side of the blowoff chamber so that the pressurized water and the water to be purified are reversed from the rear wall of the pressurized floating vessel. CONSTITUTION:A directing plate 16, properly inclined toward a rear wall 5b, is attached to the upper end of the front wall 5a of a blowoff chanber 5. Pressurized water and water, to be purified, introduced through an inflow pipe 6 into the blowoff chamber 5 rise through the blowoff chamber 5, come into collision with the rear wall 2b of a pressurized floating vessel 2, reverse their courses and flow out to the front part of the pressurized floating vessel 2. Consequently, streams directing toward the corner parts 2c of the pressurized floating vessel 2 are formed, and the water comes into collision with the rear wall 2b at the corner parts 2c and reverses its course. Thus, the water current does not stagnate at the corner parts 2c, and stagnation of floating sludge at the corner parts 2c can be inhibited.
