The tool is used to perforate a pipe and place an ecological plug, having a blade in tempered steel or other appropriate material. The blade has one or two bevelled edges, is approximately 20 mm wide by 15 mm long, and tapers to a twisted end. The blade is mounted on a handle of approximately 80 mm long by 20 mm diameter. The handle may include a hand-guard, the guard and the handle being connected by a 30 mm wooden rod.
