The arrangement produces a balanced concrete structure, e.g. of a roof suspended from beams (3,8) around the perimeter whereby the pre-stressable reinforcing elements of the roof skin, which carry this and are pref. in the form of cable bundles, are anchored in the perimeter beams and exert inward tensile forces on them. A rigid (polygonally) arched member (7b) is installed between the ends of the beams and is pre-stressed (7a). The tensile forces are transmitted to this member via a number of elements which are arranged between the beams and the members and are left in the concrete or moved after the concrete of the roof skin is set.FL.
