Modular enclosures of reinforced polyester for cultivating snails - offering ease of cleaning and maintenance with light wt.

Enclosures for cultivation of snails have a generally cylindrical form made of reinforced polyester resin. Pref. the enclosures are modular and can be coupled end to end with systems to allow snails to pass selectively from one to another depending on their size or weight. Pref. the enclosures include a rinsing system draining to a low level PVC gutter. A false floor of fine mesh can be fitted at different levels to modify the capacity of the enclosure. Allows one system to adapt to each of the six conventional stages of development of cultivated snails. The enclosure walls feature a hinged panel for access and at least one overhead vent flanked by suitable baffles to prevent escape. Polyester construction is pref. for compatibility with the creatures, non-adherance of excrement, ease of maintenance and light wt.
