The system is intended for measuring the amount of heat dissipated by a fluid flow (AL to RL) in a circuit. It comprises a measuring unit (WR) producing a mass flow signal (WS), a first sensor (RS) producing a circuit entry temperature signal, a second sensor (AS) producing an exit temperature signal, and a signal processor (multiplier (MR) which determines the amount of heat dissipated per unit time from these three signals. The unit (WR) contains one (RS) of the sensors and also a composite sensor (SS) with a first output (from IS) representing the temperature on the upstream side and a second output (from US) representing the temperature on the downstream side of the sensor (SS). These two outputs connect into an electronic circuit (differential amplifier MV1 with variable feed-back resistor (RW) which produces the mass flow signal (WS). The unit is used for determining heat consumption in fluid flow heating circuit.
