Class b output stage of amplifier reducing distortion - has first transistor with low ohmic reference Voltage overdriven in conducting range for blockage
The class B output stage is for an amplifier with two output transistor configurations. Each transistor has a control input (1,2), a control circuit which ensures that one of the two polarities of the input signal is amplified at one output (4). Distortion is reduced. The control input (1) of the first output transistor configuration (T1) is connected to a unidirectional low ohmic reference voltage source. The first output transistor configuration will continue to conduct when the second output transistor configuration is conducted. The first output transistor can be driven further into the conducting range to block the reference voltage source.
