The windmill is used to generate electrical power, and is made with a shaft and uniformly distributed blades perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. The windmill is of a simple construction with high efficiency, making a maximum use of the available wind energy. The blades (8,9) are made of flat sheets, and are attached to the support shaft (6) in pairs. The blades of each pair are displaced by a right angle. Each blade can be deflected through a right angle between stops (13,16). The stop limits the position of the blade in a plane through the shaft.
