APPARATUS FOR TREATING CANCEROUS DISEASES WITH HIGH-FREQUENCY EXTREME HYPERTHERMIC RADIOTHERAPY

The apparatus for electro-medical irradiation employs irradiation with waves of decimeter length of a pure H type or predominantly so, and utilises a frequency band in which the cancerous cells display a sharp high frequency resonance. At the same time there is a sufficient margin of safety with respect to those wave lengths which would have the same resonance effect on normal healthy cells. The density of the energy field is sufficiently high to bring about the coagulation of the plasma of cancerous cells. The apparatus uses a number of sources of irradiation arranged around the patient to irradiate the affected part from as many directions as possible.
