In one embodiment two groups are provided and are set in motion by the action of mutually adjustable eccentric cams 10, 20 on rods 8, 19 it being possible to use only one group by disengaging an electro-magnetically controlled clutch to stop drive to one of the cams, 10, 20. The drive members comprise toothed friction wheels 49 which rotate anticlockwise (Fig. 6) when a sheet 60 is removed by belts 15 thus drawing a magnet 51, which is on a pivoted arm 50, away from a magnet sensitive switch 53 which can signal if no sheet is so removed.
