Quinoxaline-1,4-dioxide derivatives of the formula I are prepared by reaction of 2-formylquinoxaline-1,4-dioxide or its diacetals with an acid hydrazide of the formula R-CO-NH-NH2. The symbol R has the meaning given in Patent Claim 1. The novel compounds obtained have antibacterial and weight yield-increasing action. IMAGE
