Bric unloading brick unloading mechanism from pallets - has reciprocating bridge with swing grab arm transferring bricks to higher conveyor

The mechanism unloads bricks or tiles stacked on pallets or loading platforms, having means for altering the height of the bricks etc. and and a discharge position offset 90 deg. from the inlet position. It has a reciprocating bridge (1) secured to lateral mountings (2), coupled to a drive mechanism (3-5) and with a guide for a transporter slide (8). The slide has a drive (9) and a swing arm (12) with a grip (13) at the end. When a pallet is positioned under the bridge, reciprocating movement of the latter moves the arm into a vertical position where the grip secures a brick. The arm is then swung up again, the slide removed by its drive mechanism, and the brick deposited on a conveyor at higher level.
