Soil improvement agents contg reactive tensides - prepd by reaction of amines and aldehydes, improving structure, water capacity and bacterial content of soil

Agents to influence plant growth contg reactive tensides, opt. other active components useful in the cultivation of crops and/or inert carriers or diluents. The tensides are prepd. in known ways using named amines: ethylene- or propylene-diamines and tri-amines, guanidine, dicyanodiamide, imidazole or substd. imidazolines; opt. together with urea. They are reacted with formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, or propionaldehyde and/or dihaloalkanes (2-6)C. The pref. water-sol. condensn. prods. have mol. wts. 15,000 and are completely- or partially alkylated with chains (1-12)C contg alkyl- or alkylcarboxylic acid amide end-gps. or complete- or partial salts with acids. The agents improve plant growth by increasing photosynthesis assimilation and nucleic acid content of plants. They act synergistically, are none-phytotixic and increase growth and yield of crops. The agents increase- and store water in the soil, improve its crumbly structure and the activity of soil bacteria.
