PROCEDURE AND DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTING AND INDIVIDUALIZING CONTAINERS ENTERING SEVERAL TRACKS ON A SINGLE ROW TRACK

The appts. is used for dividing and separating bottles arriving on several tracks into one row. The bottles arriving in serveral rows are first forced together within a separating section and at an angle of between 40 and 90 degrees transverse to their normal direction of movement; they are also accelerated both during the above process and immediately following it. The bottles are subsequently braked and their forward speed reduced to a value required to obtain a continuous single track row before they reach a further processing machine. The acceleration and/or speed reduction may be influenced within the separating section by the storage formation or the length of the single track row in front of the processing machine.
