A low load blocking limitcan be calculated as a function of the high blocking limit.The high and low dynamic limits then define a band of mega-watts instantaneously available to the system. At thedispatch computer, load-frequency control is executed andthe calculated load demands are dispatched to the variousgas turbine-generator units which respond without exceedingthe respective high and low load blocking limits. A turbinecontrol unit load reference is modified by the dispatchedload change and each unit load control operates its turbinefuel control valves to satisfy the load demand.
