PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR CARRYING OUT EXOTHERMALAND ENDOTHERMAL REACTIONS IN A CONTAINER UNDERCOMMERCIAL CONDITIONSABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE :The invention relates to a process for carryingout exothermal and endothermal reactions in a containerunder commercial conditions by indirect cooling orheating with the aid of a cooling or heating medium.To this end, the cooling or heating medium is causedto flow through a space formed and left between thewall of the container and a heat exchanging surfacearea mounted thereonto, the heat exchanging surfacearea being secured to the inside wall of the container.The apparatus used for carrying out the process iscomprised of a container provided with baffle platesand at least one multiple blade mixer and has heatexchanging structural components secured to the insidewall of the container.
