ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThe fluid loss during the extension of a frac-ture into a subterranean formation is determined frompressure decline measurements of a calibration fractureextending from a wellbore into subterranean formation.During the decline of the calibration fracturing treatmentpressure, the period of time while the pressure decline isprimarily controlled by fluid loss is selected.
