Abstract of the Disclosure: A process for the manufactureof a bifunctional catalyst for the conversion of hydro-carbons, which contains a crystalline aluminosilicate ofthe type of the Y-zeolites as the acidic component and anoble metal as the hydrogenation component. The processconstitutes a technologically simple way of manufacturingbifunctional zeolite catalysts which have at least the sameactivity and the same life as the catalysts manufactured byconventional methods, coupled with great heat stability andexhibit activity in the presence of H2O, H2S and NH3 atrelatively high temperatures.
