Planetary transmission with elastically deformable orbital gears; chain transmission with rolling contact

Planetary transmission with an optionally stationary orbital gear carrier (E) or annular gear (C), in which the torque is transmitted by one or more elastically deformable orbital gears (F, G, H), distributed around the circumference. In this arrangement, the said orbital gears fit into the annular-cylindrically shaped cavity between the sun wheel and the annular gear and, in conjunction with rollers (D1, D2, D3, V, W) on the orbital gear carrier, transmit force and movement, compressively or in tension, engaging directly in a multiplicity of teeth on the sun wheel and annular gear or with a large frictional surface engaging thereon. Roller chains (F, G, H), toothed belts or pulley belts are used as the orbital gears, depending on the transmission variant. The orbital gears can easily be inserted or replaced from outside, because of their deformability, through an opening in the annular gear which can be closed with a cover. IMAGE
