WARP KNIT FABRIC FROM FIBERGLASS MATERIALS

In mfr. of a warp knitted material from glass fibre fabrics, partic. glass silk, a number of layers are bonded together using a sewing thread, to give a prod. for reinforcing plastic and elastic materials. The sewing thread is fixed in each layer at the point of entry and contoured exit before entering the next layer. The sewing thread used is selected from a grade which is available and/or modified with a surface structure and/or thermoplastic and/or adhesive so fusible cladding to give the layer bonding effect.
