Solid tablets, containing pigments, for colouring dispersions (emulsions) and lacquers (surface coatings) contain up to 95 % by weight of pigment and 0.5 to 10 % by weight of a sodium, ammonium or potassium salt of a polyacrylic acid. The tablets are particularly suitable for colouring paints based on aqueous dispersions (emulsions) and water-based surface coatings.
