A series of shell-type elements can be mutually pulled by a lengthways drawing device, by means of cross members and inclined guides, esp. slits and cross lugs, in form work for concreting ventilating shafts or similar cavities or recesses. The drawing device (21) has an idle stroke (h) between its suspension piece (22) and the shuttering elements (10,11). When the elements have attained their sheathing position, this permits further movement of the suspension piece independently of them, to secure the sheating position. This ensures reliable support for shuttering elements in relation to transverse forces emanating from concrete pressure and dynamic stresses (DS).
