The control circuit for telephone exchange is designed to reduce the technical complexity of dialling pulse selection circuits using a large number of lines for marking. The control unit and the individual elements being controlled are associated with the same in-phase impulses produced from a central source. The controlling unit has a comparator which activates switches if the registered criteria for selection are the same as the number of dialling pulses received from the pulse generator. The controller has circuits which carry out the connecting through of the continuous pulses and time identification signals via a connecting line to the controlled unit.
