The device is designed for stabilising anti-invasion mines etc. in position on the seabed, where they are subjected to the action of currents or surf. It comprises anchor plates (3) on the mine, bent over so that they tend to dig into the seabed. If the mine is of part-spherical shape, the plates can be bent outwards to form a peripheral edge round the mine bottom. If the mine is cylindrical, they can be bent inwards at both ends.
