The magazine film sheet feed for an X-ray film developer has a light-proof box containing the stack of film sheets and a conveyor with a friction pad to pull the sheets singly into the exit slot, from where they drop into the processing equipment via a slope. The friction pad is fitted to an endless belt rotating in one direction. The feed provides for a fully automatic processing of a stack of exposed film. The conveyor has a foam roller at the end of a flexible arm, linked to the belt drive. The box can be fitted to the machine and left unattended so that the operator can work other equipment.
