Removal of injection moulded article with internal projection - by distorting wall of article outwardly whilst still in an elastic state immediately after injection

An injection moulded article has an internal projection and includes a fold or the like in its wall adjacent the projection to allow the wall to flex outwardly. After injection the wall is flexed outwardly, this being accommodated by the fold etc., to allow the projection to be withdrawn from the injection core and the article to be removed. After this operation, the wall, because of its inherent elasticity, returns to its original folded stage. Simplified removal from the core which itself can be of simple construction.
