The tractor-mounted seedbed preparation implement has one or more vibratory compacting tools with rings penetrating into the soil. The central shafts, with eccentric weights, of these tools run in bearing brackets on the frame, on which a transmission gearbox is mounted, and from which they are chain-or belt-driven. A chain or belt tensioner (20) works with components suppressing high-frequency vibration in it by friction, or limiting its freedom of movement. This can be done by thrusting the pivoting tensioner lever against the frame so as to generate friction between them.
